Ekseption Peels

carboxy neutraliser 400ml

SKU: Availability:

Alkaline lotion with sodium bicarbonate to neutralise AHA and PHA peels. At the contact of the acid, the lotion is releasing CO2 producing an intense skin oxygenation.

Most of peelings require to be neutralised, even if most of the acid is neutralised by the skin proteins, there is always an excess of free acid. The neutralisation can also avoid the peeling to penetrate too deep in the epidermis. We created a carboxy neutraliser containing sodium bicarbonate that can be easily sprayed over the face to stop the action of the peeling. At the contact of the free acid the neutralisation reaction release CO2 into the skin and the organism respond by an intense skin oxygenation (Bohr Effect). An increase of CO2 concentration in the skin will result in haemoglobin proteins to release their load of oxygen into the skin.

The carboxy neutraliser can also be used over a KS mask. The carboxy effect will be more intense and the skin temperature will increase leading to a more intense peeling effect.

Sodium bicarbonate

Neutralises free acid of peelings.

Increase the skin oxygenation by Bohr effect.

HOW TO USE

Protect the eyes and spray the carboxy neutraliser over the skin.

The carboxy neutraliser can be applied over a KS mask and then the mask can be applied directly on the face.

After 2 minutes, wash off with large amount of cold water. Do not wash off the neutraliser with warm or hot water to avoid skin irritation caused by chemical reaction of the substances at high temperature.

The face should be then gently dried with a towel.
