How It Works
The stratum corneum holds together on a matrix of lipids. When that matrix is depleted, through age, over-treatment, cold weather or a compromised barrier, water escapes more freely and the skin becomes dry, tight and reactive. This cream is built around a vegan ceramide complex derived from rice, enriched with sphingolipids and phospholipids that mirror the natural lipid matrix of healthy skin, restoring cohesion, resilience and barrier integrity.
The water-in-oil emulsion has an isotonic, salt-balanced water phase designed to optimise water transfer into the skin, while long-chain fatty acid ester emollients melt at skin temperature to form a protective, occlusive but breathable film. The result is a barrier-centric moisturiser that reduces drying and supports long-lasting hydration.
