How It Works
Not all hyaluronic acid behaves the same way. High-molecular-weight forms sit on the surface and hold water there, which is useful but limited. This moisturiser is built around a high concentration of low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, selected for enhanced permeation and for its performance against the signs of ageing compared with heavier forms.
It acts as a connective tissue organiser, improving the skin's viscoelastic properties, supporting firmness and softening the appearance of deeper wrinkles while delivering hydration into the epidermis rather than only across it. Natural glycerin works alongside it as a humectant, and the micro-emulsion structure leaves a thin protective layer that holds that hydration in place.
Key Active Ingredients
- Hyaluronic Acid XS 1%: a high concentration of low-molecular-weight sodium hyaluronate. The smaller molecular size is what allows it to reach deeper into the epidermis, hydrating where heavier forms cannot and improving suppleness and the look of fine lines. How to Use
- Apply: Use twice daily on the face and neck, massaging in with a light, gentle circular motion.
- Protect: Follow with Meso Shield 50 in the morning.
- In clinic: Apply to the face and neck with a light circular motion, then follow with Meso Shield 50 to protect the skin after a procedure.
Can be used as a standalone hydrator on clean skin, or layered over serums.
Tips
- Daily hydration: apply morning and evening to clean skin, alone or layered over serums such as Exosomes, HA Deep Filler or Niacinamide 5.0.
- Post-procedure use: works well over micro-needling, peels or laser sessions to support hydration and barrier recovery without heaviness.
- Pairs with Mela Drops to maintain hydration while targeting pigmentation and uneven tone.

A firm favourite with my clients, and I completely understand why.
