How It Works
The most important factor in a UV protection product is holding the same level of protection across both UVA and UVB, without leaving gaps in the spectrum through which certain wavelengths could still reach and damage the skin. An ideal sunscreen behaves like a uniform density filter, giving the same protection at any wavelength. This formulation works towards that by combining four different UV filters rather than relying on one or two.
It is an oil-in-water emulsion with a lightweight texture that does not leave the skin oily or white. The main emollient was chosen for its high molecular weight, too large to pass into the skin, so it holds the filters on the surface where they do their work. That same emollient improves skin smoothness and helps prevent dry, flaky skin, supporting the skin's natural barrier.

How to Use
- Apply before exposure: apply 15-30 minutes before going out in the sun, allowing it to absorb fully.
- Apply enough: most people under-apply, so use a generous amount — at least 4ml for the entire face and neck.
- Reapply every two hours: sunscreen wears off over time, so reapply every two hours, or more often after swimming, sweating or towel-drying.
- Use daily: UV reaches the skin through windows and other sources even indoors, so make sunscreen part of the daily routine.
- Combine with other measures: sunscreen is one part of sun protection — also seek shade, wear protective clothing and avoid sun exposure during peak hours, 10am to 4pm.
Proper application and consistent use are essential for protecting the skin from the harmful effects of UV radiation.
