How It Works

The exceptional fineness of the micro-emulsion is key to its performance. Its ultra-light texture efficiently dissolves and lifts away all types of makeup, including long-wear and waterproof formulas, without the use of detergents or soaps. A highly polar oil ensures effortless removal, even of the most resistant pigments, and rinses clean without leaving pore-clogging residue.

Conventional cleansers and soaps typically have a pH above 6, which is too alkaline for the skin, disrupting the acid mantle and encouraging the proliferation of undesirable bacteria. This formula preserves the skin's natural pH to support enzymatic activity and healthy epidermal renewal.

Key Ingredients

Gluconolactone, a naturally occurring Polyhydroxy Acid, provides moisturising, purifying and antioxidant benefits, helping protect the skin from oxidative damage. It offers the resurfacing benefits of AHAs while being significantly gentler and better tolerated.

Sodium Lactate, the sodium salt of Lactic Acid, delivers keratolytic, hydrating and barrier-supportive effects. A natural component of the skin's Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF), it is one of the most effective humectants available, encouraging cells to retain moisture and maintain healthy suppleness.

Usage & product details

How to Use

  • Moisten the face and neck with lukewarm water.
  • Apply a small amount of cleanser to fingertips or a soft cotton pad.
  • Gently massage in circular motions across the face, eyes and lips.
  • Rinse thoroughly or remove with a damp cotton pad.
  • Follow with toner and a preferred serum or moisturiser.
  • Use morning and evening for optimal pH balance and renewal.
