Many of these organisms play a protective role: they help keep the skin's environment inhospitable to harmful bacteria and support the skin's barrier. When this balance is disrupted, by things like harsh cleansing, pollution, UV exposure or the wrong skincare products, the skin can become more sensitive, drier or less able to protect itself.

This serum is built on a gentle, oil-in-water base with an ultra-soft feel that spreads easily. It forms a light, protective layer on the skin that helps reduce water loss and restore lasting comfort, particularly helpful for dry, sensitive or microbiome-imbalanced skin.

The base uses gentle, biodegradable ingredients chosen for their high tolerance, helping improve smoothness and support hydration, the skin's barrier and its own natural moisturising ability. This makes the formula especially suitable for compromised or reactive skin.

The main moisturising ingredient, Myristyl Lactate, combines a fatty moisturiser with some of the renewing benefits of lactic acid. It gives a soft, silky finish while helping improve texture, suppleness and overall skin comfort.

To further support the skin, the formula includes a blend of pre- and probiotic ingredients that help rebalance the skin's microflora, strengthen its natural defences and create conditions that favour beneficial bacteria, helping reduce redness, sensitivity and dryness.

Usage & product details

How to Use

• Cleanse the face thoroughly with a gentle cleanser and pat dry.
• If part of the routine, apply a toner first.
• Dispense a small amount of serum and gently massage it onto the face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
• Allow a few minutes for the serum to fully absorb.
• Follow with a regular moisturiser and, if used in the morning, apply sunscreen as the final step.
• Use once or twice daily, depending on skin's needs.
