How It Works
Hydration is treated in three tiers here, each one handled by a different ingredient. Acetyl hexapeptide-37 acts on the aquaporins, the channel proteins that move water between skin cells, so the skin transports water better itself. Hyaluronic acid then binds that water within the skin. Sodium lactate, a component of the skin's own natural moisturising factor, holds it there.
Because the water is restored within the skin rather than sealed in at the surface, the result lasts rather than evaporating. Dehydrated skin feels comfortable again, looks plumper, and the fine lines that came from dehydration rather than collagen loss become less visible.
