Centella Asiatica is widely used in post-procedure care, but the strength of any cica formula depends on what has actually been extracted from the plant. This one employs advanced extraction technology to yield a pharmaceutical-grade CICA from wild Madagascar Centella Asiatica, concentrating three pure pentacyclic triterpenes, asiaticoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid, for potency in dermal repair, collagen synthesis and barrier restoration well beyond that of cultivated sources.
Provitamin B5 converts to pantothenic acid in the epidermis, improving stratum corneum hydration, reducing transepidermal water loss and stimulating fibroblast activity, which calms the look and feel of inflamed skin. The ultra-soft oil-in-water emulsion is stabilised by biodegradable Glyceryl Stearate, a natural fatty acid emollient that mimics skin lipids to optimise delivery, boost Natural Moisturising Factors and give long-lasting comfort without heaviness.
